SHINGLEHOUSE, PA – After finding themselves behind an North Tier League opponent at halftime for the first time in several years, the Otto-Eldred boys’ basketball team erupted in the final two quarters of play, outscoring Oswayo Valley by 37 as they pulled out a 66-37 comeback victory.

Through the first half, the Terrors were playing an uncharacteristically poor brand of basketball. A team that averages 72 points a night was held to just 13 at the break as their star players were virtually scoreless. Meanwhile, the Green Wave found their way to a eight point lead going into the break.

However, in the second half, everything returned to reality. After scoring just four points in the first two quarters, Landon Francis led the charge with 12 points in the third quarter alone. Taking back the lead with a 29-11 third, O-E cruised to victory in the fourth with a 24-5 closer.

Francis finished with 18 points while Davey Schenfield and Manning Splain scored 15 points in the win.
