On Dec. 12, the WWE announced a new multi-year licensing deal with St. Bonaventure University Athletics for the sale of legacy title belts inspired by the Bonnies’ colors and branding.

The legacy title belts will feature “custom side plates emblazoned with the recently refreshed marks that honor the proud tradition of St. Bonaventure athletics,” according to a WWE press release.

The deal puts St. Bonaventure in the company of schools such as Notre Dame, Michigan, LSU, Texas, Penn State and Florida which have all secured deals for legacy belts with their respective branding.

The deal is also set to provide potential Name Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for Bona student-athletes.

“Our goal is to help connect St. Bonaventure athletics with best-in-class brands like WWE,” St. Bonaventure men’s basketball general manager Adrian Wojnarowski said in a WWE press release. “Our fans will love the Bonnies-inspired championship title belts, and our student-athletes will be the beneficiaries of the opportunities that come from our alignment with WWE.”

The belts are currently available for pre-order at WWEShop.com and Fanatics.com.
