Rita L. Stanford, 71, of Kane, formerly of Lewis Run, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at her home.
She was born on May 30, 1953 in Grand Rapids, MI, a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Travers Gredzicki.
She was a 1969 graduate of the St. Marks School, Buffalo, NY. She also earned her certificate in hairdressing and cosmetology in 1990.
On February 10, 1996 in Cheektowaga, NY, she married Roger E. Stanford who preceded her in death on November 29, 2016.
She was a member of the United States Army Reserves for eighteen years.
She was employed by the Bradford Manor as a CNA for several years.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Cheri (Stanford) English of Canton, GA and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral services per the family’s request.
