LITTLE VALLEY  — C.A.M.P., the group that saved the historic Cattaraugus County Memorial and Historic Building from the wrecker’s ball, is keeping its collective fingers crossed for a spot on the New York State and National Registers of Historic Places.

On Wednesday, C.A.M.P.’S application for a listing on the State and National Registers of Historic Places will be presented to the New York State Review Board at its Albany meeting.

“This Board will decide if the Cattaraugus County Memorial and Historical Building will be approved for listing on the Historic Registers,” said C.A.M.P. President Tom Stetz.

“Letters of Support will be presented and Mark Dunkelman will attend the meeting in person as CAMP’S reprehensive,” Stetz said. “Also, Greg Pinto with Clinton Brown Company Architecture will attend as he is the person who did most of the work on the Listing Application for C.A.M.P.”

“We all have our collective fingers crossed for a positive decision,” Stetz said  “Please add your crossed fingers.”
