Portville- Kenneth W. Kelly, 81, passed away on February 27, 2025, at the Olean Pines Health Care Center, surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness.

Ken was born on August 13, 1943, and was the son of the late Kenneth Kelly and Barbara Turner Kelly. On July 4, 1964, he married the love of his life, Joanne Straub, who predeceased him in May 2014.

Ken was a 1961 graduate of Allegany High School. He was employed by Dexter Hysol for several years, from which he retired.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially weekly visits with Chuck and Bonnie Straub, and spending time with his cousin, Tom Stetz. Ken was always up for a game of corn hole or joking about Big Foot.

He enjoyed the great outdoors and loved hiking, fishing, gardening, and digging for Ginseng. His love for baseball showed through his being a coach for the Portville Little League for several years. Ken also enjoyed going to the Oilers baseball games, St. Bonaventure basketball games, and Buffalo Bills games.

Ken is survived by his four children, Nicole Kwasneski of Mesa AZ, Kimberly (Tony Crouse) Kelly of Limestone, Edward (Karie) Kelly of Eldred, PA., and Mark Kelly of Portville; three grandchildren, Ashley, David and Taylor; one great-grandchild, Khale; and one brother, James (Sherry) Kelly.

He was predeceased by his wife, Joanne; his parents, Kenneth and Barbara; and a brother, Thomas Kelly.

There is no visitation or formal service. A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date and time to be announced.
